All works by the Wanted Artist Group are unusual in that they are each fully collaborative works between three artists. Sometimes two guest artists joined into the process. All works of art often underwent drastic changes as they changed hands. The only rule was that every artist must contribute to the work, and beyond that, there were no rules.

"Aumscape" incorporates the imagery of the tobidashi sign, which is a hand-made plywood sign portraying a cartoonish running child. It is created by community members to warn drivers of cars that children on that street might suddenly accidently run in front their car. This image is painted over photos of plywood aum figures, and is meant to read as a message for children (which from the point of view of police might also includes the adults of Japan) to escape from the big bad Aum.
